Bournemouth Society for the Visually Impaired

We are the oldest Charity in Bournemouth, founded in 1911 as Bournemouth Blind Aid.

BSVI is an independent self-funding charity, providing services and activities for blind and partially sighted people living within the Borough of Bournemouth and the surrounding area, enabling them to live active and independent lives.

We trust that this Website will give you useful information and should you wish to know more about the services available, do please contact us.

The Centre is open for enquiries from 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 3pm on a Friday. Visitors to the Centre are always welcome and members are encouraged to utilise the services available and participate in our programme of activities.
