Successful fundraising is vital to BSVI, as it does not receive unconditional funding from any source locally or nationally to cover the ever increasing costs necessary to run its large Centre and services to blind and partially sighted people in Bournemouth. You can be assured that all proceeds raised through any fundraising event and activity will go to BSVI unless otherwise specified.

FEBRUARY 2012
Family Fun Day - 11am - 3pm
This event is being organised by Events Management Students at Bournemouth University in support of BSVI and will be held on the first floor of Bournemouth Library in the town centre. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness of sight loss and the support and services BSVI can provide.
The Fun Day will have a Circus theme and will highlight how sight loss can affect everyday lives through fun activities and games, eg Guess What's in the Box, Biscuit Decorating (whilst blindfold), as well as Face painting and a Tombola to name but a few.
Entrance is free and there will be plenty to keep the whole family amused!

Saturday 1 December - BSVI Xmas Fayre 11am - 2pm
BSVI's Christmas Fayre will take place in Rooper Hall and stalls will include Christmas themed items such as cards puddings, gifts and crafts, together with our every popular homemade cakes and chutneys, jewellrey, and books. Back by popular demand will be SANTA'S GROTTO for the children. Entrance is only 25p per person and refreshments will be available.
So bring the family and join in the fun - everyone is welcome!
